Hi all out there in Chix with Stix land,

So it has been a while since our last update, but we are here now with bigger better news

It has been a very busy couple of months for us, we have played many amazing shows, been involved in many awesome projects and loved every moment. So here are a few of those moments we would like to share with you

We played a few shows for the World Cup where the energy was just incredible! something we are very proud to have been involved in.

We played at the World Travel Awards which was broadcast on DSTV this was really interesting to sit at a table with people from around the world!

We will be appearing on a local TV show called Sistahood which airs on Craze – E on  Monday afternoon and Saturday morning. It will be broadcast to approximately 1.5million people!! we will keep you updated when it will be aired

On the 21st August we are playing a great show called Angels of Rock 2 at Cool Runnings in Fourways which we are really excited about. This is an all female event and one NOT to miss so check out the gig for details ……see you there rocking out with us!

We also have alot in the pipeline,  working on our recordings, planning our next photo shoot as well as our music video!! so watch out for that.

Now for our BIG NEWS!!!   Drum roll ………….

Chix with Stix have officially been endorsed by Paiste Cymbals with their Alpha Brilliant range through TOMS music store! This is a GREAT achievement and an honour to be backed by such a prestigious brand!

Hi Fans,

Welcome to our Blog news and to our new website!

There are so many awsome things you can do on our site to keep you active and updated. I hope you use them and keep in touch!

Just a bit of news, some older some new:

Audix are our official Microphone endorsers. After our terrible highjacking on the way to a show, and our mics were stolen, Audix were amazing enough to replace the mics for us, to keep us sounding great!

April is a really busy month for us, and even though not all the shows are open to the public, for a change there are alot that are, so i hope you will be able to make one of them.

If you arent able to make a show then you are in luck as we will be performing two songs on the talk show “Dit hoe dit is met Steve Hoffmeyer” on Kyknet channel 111 on DTSV. This will be on the 24th April at 8.30pm. It will really be worth taking the time to watch

We will be travelling to Swaziland, and we will be in Margate for 4 days of mad fun at the Africa Bike Week celebrations. it is free entrance and anyone is welcome so if you in the area please pop past. We will be performing twice a night on both stages.

We are playing on the 3rd April at Cool runnings in Fourways with some of the best up and coming female bands in this country at the Angels of Rock show. Guys R50 Girls R40 come rock out with us. We will also be at Black Dahlia on the 16th April.

The one show we always look forward to each year is Lusito Land. If you havent been to this festival then you are seriously missing out and this is the year to make your appearance. It is a fundraiser for disabled children and it is a party of note every single year. This is the best way to mingle with friends, be entertained by great musicians and performers and just let go. We will be performing on Friday night 30th April at 7pm AND Sat night 1 May at 6pm. Dont miss out!!!

Other than that things are going really well for us, and we are getting ready to take over the world
